Grandma Carole’s Barbecue Ribs:

for the slow cooker

Sauce:

  • 1 large tomato sauce (16 oz.)
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup Worchester sauce
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1 onion chopped
  • Salt & pepper
  1. Brown 3-4 lbs. ribs in broiler for 30 minutes. 
  2. Drain fat.
  3. Put ribs and the sauce in a crock pot on high for 1-2 hours.
  4. Turn heat to low for 3-4 more hours.
