- 2 pounds salmon steaks, 3/4 inch thick
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 3/4 cup teriyaki sauce
- 1/4 cup white wine
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 3 tablespoons peanut oil
- 2 cloves garlic, pressed
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- handful of crushed peanuts
- Combine all ingredients in shallow pan and marinate salmon steaks for at least 30 minutes.
- If broiling steaks, place on rack 6 inches from heat source. Broil 5 minutes. Baste with marinade, turn, broil 4-5 minutes more.
- If using outdoor grill, brush grill with oil so steaks don’t stick and broil 4 to 6 minutes per side, using marinade to baste.
- Sprinkle with crushed peanuts.
