- 12 fresh jalapeno peppers, halved lengthwise, stem and seeds removed
- 1 pack of Philadelphia cream cheese
- 1 small jar of queso cheese
- 1 pack of real bacon bits
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- Cut the jalapenos lengthwise and cut the stems off. (Use gloves.)
- Use a spoon (a melon baller works best) and scrape the seeds out of the pepper.
- Put a layer of cream cheese in the pepper.
- At the end of the pepper where the top was cut off, make a little wall of cream cheese so the queso does not run out when baking. (because I am an engineer)
- Add a scoop of queso on top of the cream cheese.
- Sprinkle the bacon bits on top.
- Place peppers in a baking pan and place in the oven for about 20 minutes or until peppers are soft.
