- 3.4 packages vanilla flavored pudding mix
- 4 cups milk
- Angel food cake, cubed
- strawberries
- blueberries
- raspberries
- 3 cups heavy cream
- 6 tablespoons confectioner sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- Place mixer and bowl and whisk in the freezer for at least 20 minutes to chill.
- Add pudding mix and milk to a large bowl and make according to package directions. Chill.
- Pour heavy cream, sugar, and vanilla into the cold bowl and whisk on high speed until medium to stiff peaks form, about 1 minute. Do not over beat.
- Add about 1/2 of the angel food cake pieces tot the trifle dish or some pieces in cups.
- Top with about 1/2 of the prepared pudding.
- Top pudding with 1/2 of each kind of berry.
- Top berries with 1/2 of the whip cream.
- Repeats steps 2-5.
- Finish off parfaits or trifle with additional berries on top. Refrigerate 2-3 hours, until ready to serve.
Notes:
For stabilized whip cream that will hold longer in the refrigerator, add 1/4 teaspoon of cream of tarter to your fresh whipping cream along with the confectioners sugar.
Use 6 cups of refrigerated pudding cups (for trifle) in place of instant pudding if desired.
